The Aims and Objectives of the International Academy
for Traditional Tibetan Medicine are:

To bring the living ancient science of Traditional Tibetan Medicine into the modern world, in order to preserve, develop and propogate this valuable knowledge.

To revive aspects of TTM which have been lost, such as Tibetan acupuncture, stick therapy, Hor Me.

To promote study and research in Tibetan Medicine.

To develop TTM in an academic and scientific way.

To provide high-quality tuition in Traditional Tibetan Medicine, in response to the growing interest in TTM in the West.

To provide ongoing training for new generations of young Tibetan doctors.

To bring experienced Tibetan doctors out into the Western world in order to share and preserve this valuable living tradition, as well as to develop TTM in the Western society.
